The Pitch-Saver® was conceived in 2010 as we needed a motorhome pitch reserved sign that we would be happy to use on our motorhome travels. At the time, the only choice was a sign with a stake, which cannot be used on a hardstanding. So the Pitch-Saver® was born. Being able to personalise each sign was a key objective, not least to deter thefts. We also devised a simple method of stopping it blowing over, using a 2 litre water bottle.

The Pitch-Saver® is a durable and personalised plastic 'A' frame motorhome pitch reserved sign for use when you are touring and you need to be away from site. It can also be used as a parking place reservation sign, as it is freestanding and does not need a stake or spike to keep it in place.

High quality vinyl

Instead of screen-printing which may rub off, we use a high quality, exterior grade, 5 year self-adhesive vinyl plus solvent inks which are a minimum of 3 years water / UV & scratch resistant. And that’s if it is outside all the time (24 hours a day) – which this sign won’t be of course! The Pitch-Saver® is made to last.

Dominates the pitch

The Pitch-Saver® is 24 inches high (61cm) x 12 inches wide (30.5cm) at the bottom. It has a hinge at the top and folds to a neat 1 inch (2.5cm) thick for easy storage in a locker.

The Pitch-Saver® Maxi is much larger at 36ins (91.5cm) high by 13ins (33cm) wide and is very robust.

Personalised with a photo of your choice

Please see the samples for ideas on what you can feature on the sign as it need not be a photo of your motorhome. The photograph should be in landscape format (sideways) and sent as a jpeg. The higher resolution you use the better for our purposes. If you are unable to take a photograph (or don’t want to), then we are happy to use a generic photo of a van conversion, coachbuilt etc to reflect the style of your vehicle. Double sided signs can have a different photo each side.

What about windy days?

Simply take an empty 2 litre plastic bottle plus a length of string with you. When on site, if it is windy, fill the plastic bottle with water and suspend the bottle from the centre hinge of the Pitch-Saver® so it hangs about 2 inches from the ground. This will provide a substantial amount of stability at no cost. When you leave, empty the water and store the plastic bottle until the next stop.

Features any wording of your choice

The Pitch-Saver® will be personalised with any wording of your choice, providing it fits the space! Many people choose three languages if they are going to travel abroad.

For those who travel extensively, why not have a double-sided Pitch-Saver® with, for example: English, French and Dutch on the front and German, Italian and Spanish on the reverse. You get the picture! You can make up your own combinations and be covered for 6 countries.

Or you can have different personalised wording each side – such as 'Reserved for George and Susan'.

What if I change my vehicle?

There is no need to buy a brand new Pitch-Saver®. Just advise us of the new registration, send us a new photo and choose your wording. We’ll send you a pre-cut piece of self-adhesive vinyl with your new details so that you can apply it to your existing Pitch-Saver®. We will also send instructions on how to apply it.

Featuring reflective vinyl the Pitch-Saver®Hi-Viz takes pitch reserved signs to another level by working as well at night as it does during the day.

The Pitch-Saver Maxi

The Pitch-Saver® Maxi - 3ft x 13ins

The 'Pitch-Saver® Maxi' is a development from our ORIGINAL design and is in response to those customers who wanted the ULTIMATE pitch reserved sign.

The largest pitch reserved sign by far. It dominates the pitch. You won’t miss it! 36ins high x 13 ins wide (91.5cm x 33cm).

It has a hinge at the top and folds to a neat 3 inch (75mm) thick for storage. The photo shows the HUGE difference in size between our standard Pitch-Saver® and a Pitch-Saver® Maxi.

The hollow frame can be part filled with either sand or water to add ballast for windy days.
